Global Week of Prayer: 6th-13th September 2026

The 24-7 prayer movement are calling on all believers and churches to engage in a Global Week of Prayer, praying for our own and every nation on earth.

The prayer room In Newark will be in these places:

The Buttermarket “Cells”
Monday 7th – Thursday 10th September
10:00am–4:00pm

St Mary Magdalene “Holy Spirit Chapel”
Friday 11th & Saturday 12th September
10:00am–4:00pm

There is also a virtual prayer room, which can be accessed at any time and from anywhere.

Everyone is welcome to participate in whatever way works best for them. You can sign up for an hour of prayer or simply drop in.

We Methodists have been specially invited to steward the Buttermarket prayer room on Thursday 10 th . It would
involve working in pairs, helping visitors to use the resources and perhaps offering to pray with them. Some
extra help would be great, especially between 12 noon and 2pm. If you would be interested in helping in this
