I am married to Hannah and we have two children, Theo and Abigail. As a family we love to walk and explore, especially enjoying National Trust properties. I like cooking, making music (playing the piano and the tenor horn), running and spending time with family. I am Superintendent of the Newark & Southwell Circuit. This means I have overall oversight for the life and ministry of the circuit.
I'm new to ministry but really enjoying it! Also a father to four: Ellie, Olivia, Joseph and Daisy and husband to Katie (also the Southwell Methodist Church Families Worker). I work particularly with Elston, North Muskham, Southwell and Sutton on Trent Methodist Churches.
I have 3 children and 7 young grandchildren all living locally in Newark. Before I retired I taught science at a local secondary school. I now enjoy gardening and crafts and am actively involved in the WI. I have been a member of Balderton Methodist Church for about 19 years, and have been a circuit steward for 5 years.
I was born in Durham, brought up in a Notts mining community, attended Anglican and Methodist worship. I studied music at Southlands Methodist college and a MA in information studies at Loughborough University. I'm now based at home after illness, married to Simon and we have 3 sons in their 20s. My strengths are music in worship, bible study and conversation.
I'm a life-long Methodist, apprentice Christian, Circuit Treasurer, the oil in the mach fir firinery of finance and administration. Follower of cricket, football and Queen.
I have been a member of the Methodist Church since the age of 15; hence I feel the church is an important part of my family. I previously worked as a PA eventually taking on a role in hospitality and events management. I am a sister, aunty and great aunty to a very loving and supportive family.
