Harvest Festival Raises Nearly £150 for Disaster Relief

Charles Street Harvest Festival celebrations were a wonderful opportunity to come together in fellowship, give thanks and support those in need, both locally and around the world.

The Harvest Supper and Quiz raised £79.71, while Harvest Offerings contributed a further £70.05, bringing the total to £149.76 for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

These funds will help support vital humanitarian relief efforts in areas affected by conflict and natural disasters, including the Middle East and Venezuela.

Alongside the financial donations, a generous collection of food items was gratefully received by Newark Foodbank, helping to support local individuals and families facing hardship.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, helped organise the celebrations or contributed in any way. Your generosity and kindness are greatly appreciated.

Together, we are making a difference, both at home and further afield.
