“If we’re worrying more about bricks and mortar than what’s on people’s hearts, then we’re in the wrong place,” said The Rvd Dr Langley Mackrell-Hey, who joined the congregation in September 2025.

"The Hope church is also exploring the chance of a short-term lease in Newark town centre, before moving to a new home."

"There is an element of grief about leaving one space and going to another. But change is part of life, we all move on.

“If the shoe is too big or too small, it’s impossible to walk in. You find the right shoe and life becomes much easier.”
