Newark's new Open the Book team had their first dress rehearsal today, in preparation for an assembly at Long Bennington Church of England Academy on 25th November.
As is fitting around the start of Advent, the Bible story to be performed is about Zechariah, Elizabeth and the birth of John the Baptist, with an impressive Angel Gabriel. The cast this time are Sandra, Melanie, Duncan, Rosalind, Stephanie and Elaine. Please do pray for them on the 25th, and the children who will be involved in the assembly.
