UPDATE – Open Meeting for all interested. 24th June, 14:30 at Charles Street Methodist Church.
On the 14th of May, a small group from the circuit visited Arnold Methodist Church in Nottingham to learn about Open the Book. We saw a group planning and practising one of the set Bible Society Assemblies based on the theme of Pentecost. It was encouraging to hear their stories and see how they had managed their group through COVID and beyond. Following this visit, we all felt that we should explore setting up a team in the circuit. The plan would be to meet twice a month, rehearsing and taking these dramatised assemblies to primary schools within our town and surrounding villages. If you are interest, we would like to build a team of 8-12 members; no acting experience required!!
