President & Vice President Visit to the Nottingham and Derby District

We are delighted to welcome Revd Mark Slaney, President of the Methodist Conference, and Caroline Stead, Vice-President, to the Nottingham and Derby Methodist District this weekend, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August.

A number of special events will be taking place across the District on Saturday, including a Walking Pilgrimage, ‘To Boost Their Joy’ – a gathering for Lay Volunteers – and a Dedication Service at Ashbourne Methodist Church.

On Sunday 23rd August, we are especially pleased that Revd Mark Slaney will be joining us at Southwell Methodist Church, where he will lead the 10:00am Sunday Service.

Caroline Stead will also be leading a Circuit Service at Nuthall Methodist Church at 10:45am.

We look forward to welcoming Mark and Caroline to the District and pray that their visit will be a time of encouragement, fellowship and blessing for all involved.
