Warm Space Remembers – Life on the Home Front

Tuesday 10 November 2026 | 8.30am – 12 noon

Charles Street Methodist Church, Newark

Step back in time and join us for a special Remembrance-themed Warm Space event, as we explore what life was like on the Home Front during the Second World War.

This year's theme is The Home Front in WW2, with a small exhibition of items from the period, alongside traditional games and foods that bring a little history to life.

We'll also be joined by a guest pianist for a good old-fashioned wartime sing-along, featuring some much-loved songs from the era.

Whether you enjoy history, music, reminiscing or simply spending time with others, we'd love you to come along.

Come and enjoy a warm welcome, friendly company and a chance to remember together.
